Troop 167

TROOP HISTORY

Troop 167 was founded in 1954. It disbanded in 1959 and was re-chartered in 1962.

BOY LEAD

Our troop is led by the boys with adult guidance as needed. Divided into patrols, the Scouts elect and are led by a Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leaders and assistants.

We like to say we are Boy Led, Adult Coached

On the Move... We Bring Back Most

ACTIVITIES

As our motto proclaims, we are on the move. We have a camping trip or activity each month. They are fun and exciting and you always learn something.

Our troop is proud to have had 156 Scouts who have attained the coveted rank of Eagle Scout.

Scoutmaster
Serving as Scoutmaster since July of 2013. Dave is an Eagle Scout and is passionate about creating an environment for Scouts to grow in confidence and skill.

Committee Chairman
Servicing as the troop's Committee chairman since January of 2017, Jon brings organization, and creative ideas.  He is the epitomy of service to others and a great example to our Scouts.

Treasurer
Gary is a wealth of experience and knowledge, he is passionate about enabling Scouts grow.  He brings to 167 experience from his youth and as a leader in his son's troop.

Advancement Chairman
Chris humbly serves as our Advancement Chairman keeping a pulse on our Scouts advancement. He also serves at the Council level as the Vice President of Membership.
